Jason Holloway Named an Innovator in the Peterborough Top 100

Jason Holloway, co-founder and managing director of QL Security, has been named in the Peterborough Top 100 for 2026 in the Innovator category. The list was revealed by the Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce at its Centenary Dinner in Peterborough Cathedral on the evening of Thursday 24 September 2026.

The Chamber has been supporting businesses across the county for a hundred years. Being listed in the year it marks that anniversary, alongside firms that have traded here for decades, is a pleasing thing for a company still measuring its life in months.

What the Innovator category recognises

The category rewards a change in how something is done rather than long service in doing it the usual way. For QL Security that change is structural. AI Security is normally bought in pieces: an advisory firm to assess, a vendor to supply the tooling and somebody else to run it, with the customer left to make the three agree. We built the company so that one team assesses the risk, implements the control and produces the evidence a board, an auditor or a customer will accept.

Doing all three is harder than specialising in one of them, and it is the reason the model is worth describing as innovative. The value to the organisations we work with is not the elegance of the structure. It is that the gap between advice and working protection, where most AI risk actually sits, never opens in the first place.

A note on the region

QL Security is registered in Stamford and works across Cambridgeshire and the wider East of England as well as nationally. The county contains a concentration of AI research, applied AI businesses and regulated organisations adopting the technology at speed.
